The Prince George Italian Club was founded in 1964 and officially registered in 1989 as a non-profit society.   The earliest presence of Italian citizens in northern British Columbia dates back to the end of the 1800’s and early 1900’s during the construction of the railway from Prince Rupert to Prince George.

The Club was formed to provide connections and social interactions for Italian immigrants.  More recently the focus is to keep the Italian culture and language alive for future generations of Italian-Canadians.
